Enoshima

I reckon Tokyo is a surreal place to be in during Golden Week after you’ve been living here for awhile. I’ve gotten so used to all the people and the crowds, that last week (actually 2 weeks ago now, that’s how long this post has been stewing) when the hordes streamed out of town for Golden Week, the trains and streets everywhere were so empty (relatively), I kinda felt like I missed out on some major announcement and I’d been left behind after half the city had been evacuated. I can totally see a Murakami story set in such a place.

As it turned out, I was lucky enough to get out of town myself on one of the days. Went to Enoshima with a couple of my colleagues. The place was packed, but it was great. I’d have to go back again one of these days.

OMG there’s just too many pics… with titles etc here
